Maranggi satay is a native Sundanese food in Indonesia which is usually found in the West Java area, especially Purwakarta. Sate maranggi is a typical Sundanese food. What differentiates Maranggi Sate from other satays is the process of soaking the meat in spices (marination), before it is made into satay and cooked. Because of this seasoning process, Sate Maranggi is served without accompanying sauce. Served with Lontong and Pickles.
